L3 DevOps Support Engineer (5-7 yrs)

Role Overview :

As a Senior Team Lead for DevOps Support (L3), you will play a critical role in driving the adoption of cloud-native technologies and automating our clients' environments. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust and scalable EaaC (Everything as a Code) framework on the Kubernetes platform, automating deployments, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. This is a highly technical and challenging role that requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

EaaC Framework Development :

- Lead the design and implementation of an EaaC framework on the Kubernetes platform, encompassing infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and configuration management.

Cloud Environment Automation :

- Automate the provisioning and management of client cloud environments on the Kubernetes platform, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.

Deployment Optimization :

- Streamline deployment processes on the Kubernetes platform, minimizing provisioning time and ensuring consistent and standardized deployments across all environments.

Function-as-a-Service Implementation :

- Leverage serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions) across private and public clouds to enhance scalability and reduce operational overhead.

Compliance and Security :

- Implement robust compliance checks, security scanning, and automated remediation processes to ensure adherence to client standards and industry best practices.

- Develop and implement rollback strategies to mitigate the impact of unforeseen issues.

Protocol Adherence :

- Ensure adherence to all relevant security and compliance protocols and best practices.

Requirements

Essential :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

- Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in supporting cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerization.

- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem (e.g., Docker, Helm, Istio).

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proven leadership and mentoring skills.

Desirable :

- Experience with serverless computing platforms (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).

- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
