BiteSpeed - DevOps Technical Lead - CI/CD Pipeline (7-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive DevOps strategy that aligns with our business goals and technical requirements.

- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment process for our applications.

- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (i.e., Terraform, Ansible) to provision and configure infrastructure in a repeatable and automated manner.

- Oversee the selection, implementation, and ongoing optimization of DevOps tools and technologies (i.e., containerization platforms, configuration management tools, monitoring tools).

- Champion collaboration between development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining DevOps processes.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends and best practices, and implement them to enhance our software delivery efficiency.

- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, helping them develop their skills and expertise.

- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with deployments and infrastructure management.

- Collaborate with security teams to integrate security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle.

- Monitor the performance and health of our DevOps infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different technical and non-technical teams.

Technical Skills (Must-Have) :

- 7+ years of experience in software development and operations, with a strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps Pipelines.

- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and methodologies.

- Experience with containerization technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Familiarity with configuration management tools (i.e., Puppet, Chef, Ansible).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (i.e., Python, Bash) for automating tasks.

- Strong understanding of Linux administration principles
