System and Stress Test Group
The Database System and Stress Test group in the Database Organization designs and develops scalable and reusable applications to effectively assess end-to-end scalability, high-availability, reliability and performance (S.H.A.R.P) of Oracles flagship Database product.
The Engineered Systems and Cloud Services Team within the S.H.A.R.P group designs and develops cloud scale software applications and benchmarks for Oracles Exadata Database Machine which is the world’s fastest machine to run Oracle Database. Exadata Systems provide the best-in-class compute, storage and network infrastructure, engineered together as a backbone platform of Oracle Cloud to support hundreds of thousands of mission critical and high performance systems – including Oracle Autonomous Database.
Oracle Exadata’s Cloud and AI powered storage management technology scales seamlessly across thousands of disks with microsecond latency, offering best in-class storage platform for running database and general purpose IO applications.
We are looking for systems engineers who are willing to take on cutting edge Cloud and AI powered storage technologies to tap the full potential of Oracle Engineered Systems and Cloud Services.
Typical Day of a S.H.A.R.P Engineer
