Job Description

Bachelors or masters degree in English literature, Journalism, or Engineering with strong English language skills.
Thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and usage.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong understanding of technical concepts.
Proven experience writing technical documentation, including manuals.
5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the software industry.
Experience in creating video scripts and producing short technology help videos.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points For:

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience in SaaS or cloud-based technologies.

As a member of the technical writing division, you will design, create and deliver whole product documentation sets and/or related courseware. Edit, organize and direct the work activities of other technical writers and staff. Plan the format, arrange the layout of publications and edit work for conformance to publication standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain user manuals, online help articles, tutorials, and FAQs.
Write compelling marketing content, such as website copy, blog posts, and social media updates.
Develop engaging scripts and produce short help videos that demonstrate the functionality of our applications.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy.
Follow style guidelines and maintain consistency across all content.
Actively study and apply industry-standard and company-mandated style guides.
