Job Description
- Develop scalable infrastructure, including microservices and backend systems, for automating the Inference, training and deployment of machine learning models.
- Build core AI services, such as Vision, Speech, Language, and more.
- Design and implement Proof of Concepts (POCs) using AI Perpetual AI Services to address enterprise-specific challenges.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers and software engineers to build infrastructure, addressing both internal and external product requirements.
- Lead RD efforts to explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve backend development.
- Experiment with machine learning models in Python using libraries like Pytorch, TensorFlow, Jax
- Leverage cloud technologies such as Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar platforms for production readiness.
Qualifications:
- Master s degree or equivalent experience (preferred) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Operations Research, or a related field.
- 2+ years for Masters, or demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models in production.
- Practical experience designing and deploying distributed systems using microservices architecture and APIs with frameworks like Spring Boot (Java).
- Experience working in a cloud environment: Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, GCP, Azure, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques, statistical models, and performance tuning.
- Expertise in at least one high-level language (Java preferred) and one scripting language (Python preferred).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience or willingness to work in Agile and DevOps processes.
- A passion for learning and mastering new technologies.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-native frameworks, tools, and products.
- Experience in computer vision tasks (e.g., image classification, object detection, text recognition, document analysis).
- Contributions to GitHub projects or open-source technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, ATP DB and other enterprise software.
