Job Description
You will be part of a team of smart, hands-on scientists and engineers with the expertise and passion to solve difficult problems in distributed highly available services and virtualized infrastructure. At every level, our engineers have a significant technical and business impact by designing and building innovative new systems to power our customer s business critical applications.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for working with multiple teams to plan implement multiple large technical development projects including definition of end-to-end roadmap, risk management, resource security process tracking, problem solving and communication of issues outcomes to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related field; CSM and PMP are a plus
- 10+ years managing large scale technical software programs
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent judgment to influence product roadmap direction, features, and priorities.
- Understanding of SDLC and experience in managing modern application development involving cloud, CI/CD, DevSecOps concepts and tools in cloud environment (IaaS, PaaS or SaaS)
- A demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically.
- Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.
- Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at different levels in the org, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling
- Knowledge or experience managing AI infrastructure, AI service or solutions will be an added advantage.
- Define and deliver critical programs with competing priorities by influencing roadmaps and priorities of key stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams across timezones to establish and maintain our roadmaps, set appropriate expectations, and ensure the services meet our high operational excellence standards.
- Take large, complex projects, break them down into manageable pieces, build detailed project schedules, then drive the delivery in a successful and timely manner.
- Perform capacity planning, infrastructure cost monitoring, reporting, and ensuring other organizational programs are implemented on-time
- Run operational programs like on-call rotation, cloud operations maturity, annual assessments, production business metrics tracking
- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
- Identify process gaps, improve current processes, and establish organizational procedures for optimized efficiency, productivity, engineering and operational excellence
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
- Lead interactions with cross functional teams consisting of UX designers, engineers, machine learning engineers, product managers and executive leadership.
