Oracle Database Solution Architect - Presales (Kerala)

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Solution Architect - Presales professional to join our team. This role is integral in driving customer success through innovative database solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to clients, and supporting the sales team in designing and promoting Oracle database technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle databases, architecture design, and presales activities.

Location: Kerala

(Malayalam language is a must)

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Technical Expertise

• Architect and design Oracle database solutions tailored to meet client requirements.
• Provide deep technical knowledge and expertise on Oracle database products, including Oracle Database, Oracle Exadata, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Develop proof-of-concepts, demos, and technical presentations to showcase Oracle database solutions.

Presales Support

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and design customized database solutions.
• Assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs with accurate and comprehensive technical details.
• Demonstrate the value proposition of Oracle database solutions to technical and business audiences.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor on database solutions.
• Lead technical workshops, discussions, and presentations with stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and best practices for database architecture, migration, and optimization.

Industry Knowledge and Innovation

• Stay updated on emerging database technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Leverage industry insights to deliver innovative and competitive Oracle database solutions.

Deliverables:

• Oracle database solution designs and architectures.
• Technical proposals, presentations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Recommendations for database optimization, scalability, and performance improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in database architecture, design, and administration.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle database products, including Oracle Database, RAC, Data Guard, Exadata, and Oracle Cloud services.
• Proven track record in presales or customer-facing roles.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in database design, performance tuning, and high availability solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud database services, especially Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Familiarity with migration strategies from on-premises to cloud environments.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must be proficient in Tamil language to effectively communicate with regional clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle certifications such as Oracle Database Certified Professional or Oracle Cloud Architect certifications.
• Experience in handling large-scale database projects and migrations.
• Knowledge of competitive database technologies.
