Role Summary

This is a field specialist role which needs interpersonal and technical skills to collaborate with the sales team. This person should be able to establish value through presentations, demonstrations and benchmarks/POCs. Should be able to convert customer business and operational challenges into deployable technical solution leveraging Oracle technology stack. This position requires advance skills with wide ranging experience. This candidate must use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex technology issues in creative and effective ways. Must have clarity on concepts around leading technology trends in the industry.

Expanded Responsibility

As a Pre Sales Consultant (Hybrid Cloud Systems), you will act as an expert for formulating and leading presales technical engagement with prospective clients and partners while ensuring customer satisfaction. Act as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced team members. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative solutions. Develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Collaborate with other business units of Oracle to provide the best solution that solves customer business and operational challenges. Leads all aspects of the technical sales process. Must be comfortable and experienced in setup and hands-on demo/PoC in the customer environments. This person should be able to work with minimum supervision and must be an ace collaborator for close collaboration with the sales, support, delivery, engineering, and product management. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Must have effective time management skills to prioritize high priority tasks. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• Overall 10+ years of experience
• Demonstrated experience in selling & positioning Oracle Offerings
• Enthusiasm, energy and ability to evangelize and expanded the footprint of Oracle cloud platform and Services with initiatives like Data Science, AI, Mobility, Digital and Cloud.
• Experience in a customer-facing, role such as Pre Sales.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to travel, when required
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external business owners and stakeholders across all organizational levels
• Advanced organization, time management and project management skills
• Bachelors degree in computer science, business, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Team player who will innovate to continue improving the way Oracle services its customers
