Job Description

Head of Sales and Marketing - AAC Blocks

Location:

Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Region

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
    • Manage and lead a team of sales executives across the region.
    • Build and nurture relationships with builders, contractors, dealers, and architects.
  2. Market Development:
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand the market share for AAC blocks.
    • Educate prospective clients on the benefits of AAC blocks over traditional building materials like red bricks.
    • Conduct market research to understand competitor activities and industry trends.
  3. Marketing Strategies:
    • Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote AAC blocks as eco-friendly, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
    • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
  4. Operational Excellence:
    • Monitor sales performance and generate reports to assess productivity and profitability.
    • Ensure the timely delivery of products to clients, maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to align supply with market demand.
  5. Team Management:
    • Train and mentor the sales team to improve their performance and product knowledge.
    • Set clear goals and performance indicators for team members.
  6. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop long-term plans to position the company as a leader in the AAC blocks market.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market feedback.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of 8+ years in sales and marketing within the building materials industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of AAC blocks and the construction industry in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team towards achieving challenging goals.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of local markets and customer segments.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools.
  • Experience in digital marketing and online lead generation.
  • Fluency in Telugu, Hindi, and English.
