As an SAP HCM Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert support and implementation services for our SAP HCM system, focusing on Payroll, Personnel Administration, Time Management, and Organizational Management. You will play a key role in resolving payroll-related incidents, managing system upgrades, and ensuring compliance with country-specific legislation. Your ability to understand complex business processes and deliver effective solutions will be crucial to our success.
Responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on support for payroll-related incidents for USA, Canada, Australia, and India.
- Implement and maintain international and Indian payroll processes within SAP.
- Manage cutover activities during data migration from legacy systems to SAP.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of standard SAP payroll functions and processes.
- Develop and maintain Payroll Calculation Rules (PCRs) and schemas.
- Create and manage wage types and their processing within the payroll system.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific legislation and info types.
- Implement Personnel Administration, Time Management, Payroll, and Organizational Management modules.
- Manage system upgrades and year-end activities, including coordinating with the Basis team for support pack implementation.
- Conduct thorough testing and obtain business sign-off for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation.
- Understand and analyze complex business processes to provide effective SAP HCM solutions.
- Demonstrate expertise in understanding SuccessFactors and its integration with SAP HCM.
- Document business scenarios and requirements related to payroll systems.
- Manage projects efficiently, ensuring on-time deliverables within cost parameters.
- Participate in daily scrum calls, providing updates on changes and incidents.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to resolve payroll-related issues during payroll runs.
- Conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions and prepare comprehensive documentation and presentations.
- Create and deliver MOM after KT sessions.
- Create and deliver reverse KT presentations.
Experience & Skills Required :
- Extensive hands-on experience in SAP HCM modules (PA, TM, PY, OM).
- Strong understanding of SAP payroll processes, including PCRs, schemas, and wage type management.
- Experience with country-specific legislation and info types for USA, Canada, Australia, and India.
- Experience with SuccessFactors integration.
- Proven experience in supporting global payroll operations.
- Experience managing system upgrades and year-end activities.
- Proficiency in cutover activities during system implementations.
- Experience with UAT documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand and translate complex business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
