Job Overview:
As a Backend Officer at Chandigarh University, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of the institution. You will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, organizing data, ensuring smooth communication within different departments, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the university.

Responsibilities:
1. Maintain Data Integrity: Accurately input, organize, and manage data in the universitys backend systems, ensuring its integrity and confidentiality.
2. Document Management: Ensure proper storage and retrieval of physical and digital files, making them easily accessible to authorized personnel according to university protocols.
3. Administrative Support: Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
4. Communication Coordination: Collaborate with different departments to facilitate effective communication through email, phone calls, official letters, and other relevant means of communication.
5. Supply Management: Monitor and maintain stock levels of office supplies, equipment, and necessary materials, initiating purchase orders as needed.
6. Database Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain databases, ensuring accuracy and adherence to data protection regulations.
7. Timely Reporting: Prepare reports related to backend operations and provide accurate updates to the concerned authorities.
8. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to backend operations and escalate any problems to the appropriate departments when necessary.
9. Process Improvements: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of backend operations, optimizing resource utilization and reducing redundancy.

Required Qualifications:
1. Education: A bachelors degree in business administration, computer science, or any related field is preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution or related industry.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using MS Office applications and other relevant software tools for administrative tasks.
