We are looking for a competent and motivated Node.js developer to join our software development team. As a Node.js developer, your primary role will be to develop and execute a scalable application using the Node.js framework. You will create high-performance, efficient web application that can handle large amounts of data and traffic for our clients.
Your roles and responsibilities as a Node.js developer will also entail working closely with the project development team and supporting designers, project managers and front-end developers in executing the software solutions.

Job Role:
- Developing and maintaining web applications using Node.js and JavaScript including writing clean, scalable & efficient code with Node.js best practices
- Developing and implementing complex Node.js applications to the cloud infrastructure.
- Designing and maintaining scalable and efficient APIs and integrating third-party APIs into Node.js applications.
- Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
- Developing all server-side logic, including data storage to optimize website performance
- Work collaboratively with designers, stakeholders and product owners to define, design and implement new features in existing software solutions.
- Participate in performance optimisation and tuning of existing Node.js applications by reviewing software code and providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Ensure proper adherence to privacy and cyber security standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and bugs in Node.js applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope
- Staying updated with the latest Node.js developments and frameworks
Skills Required:
- You have prior experience as a Node.js developer for at least 2-3 years.
- You are experienced with REST, WebSocket, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, etc
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
- Proficiency with front-end technologies like CSS, HTML and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of database technologies and agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with front-end development frameworks, such as ReactJS or AngularJS.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks, such as Express.js.
- You possess a good understanding of asynchronous development and data security principles
- You are experienced with software engineering best practices such as design patterns, code reviews, unit and integration testing, etc
- You possess an in-depth understanding of data structures and other computer science fundamentals
- You have good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Knowledge with code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}
Qualifications:
BCA, MCA, BE, B.Tech or similar education level or certification.
