Open Secret - Finance Controller - CA (3-5 yrs)

CAs with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience only

Key outcomes to drive:

a. Ensure GAAP guidelines are followed as part of monthly book-keeping activities;

b. Pro-actively ensure Ind AS and other statutory compliances on time with limited supervision;

c. Drive corporate governance best practices from financial internal controls perspective bottoms-up.

Key outputs to drive with the finance support team:

a. Month-end closing activities to be done timely by the 5th of the following month;

b. Prepare and execute SoPs for procure to pay, billings to collections, and record to report accounting cycle;

c. Liaise with external auditors and bankers for recurring reporting cycles;

d. Support in fundraising and due diligence activities.

Skills sought from prospective candidate:

a. Be humble to learn;

b. Have the humility to cooperate with other colleagues;

c. Task automation and structured problem-solving skills; and

d. Clarity on basics of accounting and business-finance principles.
