Finance Controller (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities:

- Oversee AP, AR, regulatory compliance, payments, business accounting, and IT process controls.

- Set up or revamp ERP systems for accounting (Zoho Books preferred).

- Finalize trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow for monthly reporting and statutory audit.

- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, reviewing key drivers, risks, and opportunities.

- Ensure accurate management reporting to BU leads and the management team.

- Act as a commercial business partner, supporting market bids, financial forecasts, and budgets.

- Identify areas for improvement in financial analysis, forecasting, and commercial support.

- Manage bookkeeping, cash flow, and MIS reporting.

- Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and cost accounting.

- Lead timely and accurate financial close processes with comprehensive reconciliations.

- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, identifying trends and variances.

- Manage payroll, HR, PF, and related enrolments for new hires in the India entity.

- Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxes, including TDS and GST filings.

- Set up controls monitoring programs for business transactions.

- Develop and maintain internal control systems and policies.

- Support month-end and year-end close processes.

- Supervise financial department staff, including accountants and bookkeepers.

- Collaborate with HR to define roles and regularly review team performance
