Infrastructure Engineer ( DM - 4045 )

Job Overview:

A successful Infrastructure Engineer must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and various internet applications, networks, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
• Checking computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality. And assets management.
• Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade in-house servers.
• Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules.
• Ensure network security and connectivity.
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
• Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
• Resolve problems reported by the end user.
• Maintain knowledge of computer engineering trends and new technology.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a hardware administrator role.
• Hands-on experience in hardware engineering networking, routing, and switching.
• Experience with firewalls (pfSense), Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
• Ability to set up and configure server hardware.
• Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking.
• Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration.
• Hands-on experience in Linux commands(basic).
