Onward Technologies - Azure/Kubernetes Engineer - AppDynamics (6-9 yrs)

Job Description

- To provide design, engineering, development, planning and administration of Azure Kubernetes( AKS) clusters for a set of critical business applications.

- Work closely with application, engineering, security and operations teams to engineer and build Azure PaaS & IaaS solutions within an agile and modern enterprise grade operating model.

- Developing and Maintaining the Infrastructure as Code repository, Azure DevOps and the content to be able to deliver a fully automatized cloud infrastructure.

- Integration and administration of relevant technology, people and processes within relevant IT compliance, regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.

- Working with end users, vendors and clients to produce, develop and review cloud and cloud security strategies, roadmaps and plans.

- Working with business leads and end users to resolve issues and develop solutions as required.

- Producing, developing, and evolving technology documentation and process templates as required.

- Utilize containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes for application deployment.

- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection.

- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.

- Stay updated with the latest Azure Cloud services and tools.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Experience in lift-and-shift implementations to cloud-native services.

- Integrate on-premises network with Azure Cloud using ExpressRoute etc.

- Experience in implementing Azure PaaS Solutions (WebApps, CaaS, Event Hub, API, Databases )

- Significant experience in setting up Kubernetes Clusters with Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS).

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes applications uing Azure DevOps / Jenkins / Gitlab CI.

- Deploy and maintain resources on Azure Cloud using Terraform IaC tool.

- Configuration Management using Ansible Implement automation using tools such as Python, Shell scripting or similar.

- Implement and maintain security policies for Kubernetes clusters and applications.

- Develop and maintain Kubernetes Clusters, Middleware and Databases setup on Azure Cloud.

- Experience in monitoring and logging solutions using Grafana, App Dynamics, Dyna Trace etc.

- Ensure timely resolution of issues, responsible for communicating with all impacted parties the status and resolution of all issues.
