Job Description: Land Acquisition
Position: Land Acquisition - Multiple Openings at different level

Location: Mumbai OR Anywhere is Maharashtra.
Experience: 15-20 years
Location: Maharashtra
Language Preference: Marathi (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities:

1. Land Acquisition & Allotment:
• Lead and manage the process of acquiring private land for ground-mounted renewable energy projects.
• Handle government land allotment procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with land acquisition.
2. Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Maharashtra revenue records and land laws.
• Ensure all legal aspects are thoroughly addressed, including sell deeds and lease deeds.
• Coordinate with legal teams to finalize land agreements and resolve disputes.
3. Stakeholder Coordination:
• Establish and maintain relationships with farmers, landowners, and government authorities.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to facilitate smooth acquisition processes.
• Engage with local communities to ensure seamless project execution.
4. Documentation and Records Management:
• Ensure accurate maintenance and verification of land-related documents.
• Regularly update land records and manage title clearance processes.
• Facilitate due diligence and land surveys as required.
5. Project Coordination:
• Collaborate with internal departments such as project development, legal, and operations to align land acquisition strategies with project timelines.
• Report regularly to senior management on acquisition status and potential challenges.
6. Policy Advocacy:
• Keep abreast of evolving land policies and regulations in Maharashtra.
• Advocate for favorable land acquisition policies that benefit renewable energy projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Land Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (15-20 years) in land acquisition, including private land purchase and government land allotment.
• Strong knowledge of Maharashtra revenue records and legal procedures.
• Expertise in drafting and executing sell deeds and lease deeds.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Marathi (preferred).
• Ability to travel extensively across Maharashtra.
