Cyber Security Manager

OVERVIEW :

Technical Project Manager for Security This role is responsible for management of Model Ns Information Security projects to support business objectives. This role will provide the TPM (Technical Project Manager) with the required support from Security Engineers, Infrastructure Engineers, Product Development directors and many others across the organization to run Security projects

Key activities expected to be demonstrated during the project management:

- Ability to derive project tasks based on the cyber security project being worked on (Example: for EDR project, ability to derive the milestones, tasks and timelines for delivering the project should be demonstrated)

- Ability to create project plans on Atlassian, Microsoft Projects Planner or equivalent tools to manage the cyber security projects.

- Work with external vendors to plan and deliver some of the key cyber security projects like External Pentest, ISO 27001 Certification etc.

- Derive and track all cyber security metrics based on the established cyber security projects.

Technical Project Manager,Qualified candidates will have a background in Project management, Information Security, Security Incident Management, Security Operations, Threat Management and Engineering.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Derive milestones and project tasks for all the cyber security projects (few important are listed below):
• XDR, Security Operations and Incident Management
• Web Application Firewall and DDoS Protection Implementation Projects
• Infrastructure, Application and Platform vulnerability remediation projects.
• Application Security and DevSecOps implementation projects.
• ISO 27001, SOC1 and SOC2 Implementation and sustenance audit project management.
• Derive metrics and track them to effective report measurement and analysis to the CISO.
• Manage project plans using Atlassian plans or Microsoft Project Planner or equivalent tools.
• Run agile or scrum for all the cyber security projects parallel and report the project timelines and expected completion dates. Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with the project
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant standards, regulations, and organizational policies (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical issues into actionable insights.
• Create and present status reports to stakeholders. Ensure transparency regarding project risks and progress.
• Oversee deployment of access management tools and policies, security tool deployments, ensure updates, and measure performance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Information Security Project Management and at least 4-5 years of experience in security project management or working as a manager in cybersecurity department.

• Endpoint Security
• Cloud Security
• IT Security
• Vulnerability Management
• Application Security
• Network Security
• Email Security
• Data Leakage Prevention
• SASE & ZTNA
• Risk Remediation
• External and Internal Third-Party Pentest.
• Must have experience supporting and driving ISO 27001, SOC, PCI DSS readiness and audit (e.g., control design review, control operating effectiveness audit, assessment write -ups and control documentation review, audit evidence upload, supporting audit walkthroughs with auditors, etc.)
• Certification preferred (but not a requirement) in one or more of the following: CISA, CISM, Cloud platforms.
• Expert communicator with a track record of operating, partnering with and influencing up to and including exec-level stakeholders.
