Data Operations Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract and critically assess data; ensure data integrity by flagging inconsistencies and illogical patterns.
• Identify trends in data sets and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain strong data structure and hygiene; ensure proper organization, labeling, and structuring of collected data.
• Utilize and demonstrate proficiency in data analysis tools such as social listening and media monitoring platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Netbase, Signal AI)
• Develop and optimize Boolean-based search queries for media listening platforms
• Showcase advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, using it for data analysis, aggregation, and reporting.
• Aggregate data from multiple sources and set it up for detailed analysis in a methodical and organized manner.
• Offer proactive insights and suggestions to improve data operations as needed.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Actively manage projects related to data collection and analysis, ensuring timelines are adhered to.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience using social listening and media monitoring platforms.
• 2-3 years of experience working with social media metrics and performance analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to critically evaluate and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Skilled in utilizing complex formulas and features, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IFERROR, COUNTIF, and more, to manage and analyze data effectively.
• Proficient in data visualization: Expertise in selecting the most suitable visuals for data analysis, focusing on identifying and communicating key trends and patterns.
• Experience working effectively within a globally distributed team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating data-driven presentations.
