MEP Engineer/ Executive/ Manager/

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic MEP Engineer Manager to lead and oversee our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in MEP systems, a strong leadership background, and the ability to manage large-scale projects while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the MEP department, overseeing the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to ensure MEP systems are integrated efficiently into projects.
• Manage and supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and other MEP professionals.
• Review and approve MEP designs and plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving MEP processes and performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handle the procurement and management of MEP-related materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and monitor the budget for MEP projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions and staying within financial constraints.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of MEP installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage client relationships and provide technical advice and solutions as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in MEP engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MEP Design and Execution systems, industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial MEP projects.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices in MEP design.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers and team members.
