GM - Legal (Litigation)

Role & Responsibilities

• Drafting Pleadings/Replies:
  
• Draft pleadings and replies for SRA (Slum Rehabilitation Authority) related matters.
• Attend hearings before CEO SRA, ARS (Appellate and Review Authority), AGRC (Authority for Grievance Redressal Committee), and other appropriate authorities.
• Must be proficient in understanding, reading, and dictating replies in Marathi.
• Legal Proceedings:
  
• Draft and vet pleadings, and attend hearings before various authorities including Revenue Authorities, High Court, City Civil Court, RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority), Consumer Court, and other courts.
• Ensure all legal documentation is prepared accurately and submitted timely.
• Counsel Briefing:
  
• Brief external counsels and provide them with necessary instructions and documentation.
• Coordinate with counsels for court appearances and ensure all case requirements are met.
• Case Management:
  
• Manage a portfolio of litigation cases, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of all legal proceedings and documentation.
• Research & Analysis:
  
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Analyze legal issues and provide recommendations to senior management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Gender Preference: Male candidates preferred.
• Experience: Must have experience in the real estate sector, particularly in handling litigation.
• Language Proficiency: Must be able to understand, read, and dictate in Marathi.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
