Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative WordPress Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web design, user experience (UX), and WordPress development. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites that are visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement visually engaging WordPress websites that meet client requirements.
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins as needed.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring they are optimized for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Optimize websites for mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Integrate third-party tools and services with WordPress, such as CRM systems, email marketing tools, and payment gateways.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to implement on-page SEO best practices.
• Ensure websites are secure and backed up regularly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website design, performance, and functionality.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in web design and WordPress development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience designing and developing WordPress websites.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Proficiency with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
• Experience working with custom themes and plugins.
• Knowledge of website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Understanding of website security best practices.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A portfolio showcasing previous WordPress design and development work is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Figma).
• Experience with website migrations or upgrades.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
