The UI/UX hire will be responsible for working closely with research team members, product, business, and technical partners to create best-in-class experiences with the goal of exceeding management and user expectations, playing a significant role in steering transformational Marsh design programs and products to industry-leading standing.

The ideal candidate is confident designer with strong communication and relationship-building skills, is highly collaborative but not afraid to take chances and to communicate the design perspective when representing the needs of the user. The UI/UX Designer will support and facilitate high-quality delivery of work by providing in-depth thought through design approaches that is vetted by applying different user validation methods.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create information architecture, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, detailed designs to effectively communicate interaction design ideas to communicate end-to-end scenarios.
• Able to demonstrate examples of user interaction design and speak to tangible results.
• Fluent in UX/UI best practices, processes, and methodologies and knows when to bend the rules.
• Curious to learn complex domain space and thrives in iterative design process and comfortable collaborating and sharing design ideas in a team setting.
• Ability to translate product requirements into design briefs.
• Comfortable working in an agile setup and iterate on design based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, engineering, research, and design to implement user-centric solutions from concept to launch.

Technical Skills Requirements:

• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, and other visual tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor s or master s degree in design, human factors, HCI or related field.
• An online portfolio that demonstrates design thinking and how you approach user problems.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, React, Angular and other frontend low code no code platforms and languages.
