Officer - Freight forwarding

Role & responsibilities

• Manage operations for imports/exports above the customer's standards.
• Manage daily operation activities (Order and customer management) and work procedures.
• Provide quotations as requested by a direct inquiry from customers.
• Efficiently handle customers complaints & requirements and recommend corrective action plans.
• Handling imports documentations.
• Overseeing operations related with custom clearance, freight forwarding and negotiations.
• Handle shipments and Knowledge Cha and Freight forwarding.
• Interacting and monitoring custom clearance, Shipping Line and Overseas Agent.
• Build and maintain close relationship with customers, operations, sales, and accounts department.
• At least 2 years of experience in forwarding operation.
• Result oriented, pro-active and possess a positive work attitude.
• Knowledge of Customs/ Shipping line / Airlines.
• Knowledge of Air / Ocean Freight & Contract Logistics will be a definite advantage.
• Understand diversity and working with different cultures.
• Able to work in an agile in a fast-paced working environment. Must be a strong teamplayer, hardworking, work on demand & hand-on.

Preferred candidate profile

Designation- Executive - Freight Forwarding

Experience- More than 3 to 5 Years

Location- HQ (Gurgaon)

Education- Bachelor's degree/Post Graduate/MBA

Preferable Experience in logistics companies or MNC
