Job Description

We are seeking an experienced NVOCC Manager to join our team in Mumbai Suburban. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of expertise in NVOCC operations, including logistics, documentation, and customer service. This role demands a professional who can handle customer inquiries, manage operations, ensure seamless documentation processes, and maintain effective communication across various teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Establish contact with customers to secure bookings and explain the range of products/services available.
• Documentation Coordination: Collect KYC documents, booking slips, and shipment details (commodity, weight, port, vessel), ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
• Space Allocation: Coordinate with slot operators for space allocation on vessels to ensure timely shipments.
• Order Management: Direct the documentation team to issue booking/delivery orders and ensure the proper flow of containers from the empty yard, adhering to FIFO principles.
• Follow-ups: Track container pickup status and work with operations teams to ensure availability and timely completion of required documents (VGM, load list).
• SOA Data Management: Prepare and send Statement of Accounts (SOA) data to the accounts team, along with supporting documents for approval.
• Rate Negotiation: Negotiate shipment-specific rates with principals to optimize cost-efficiency.
• Operational Oversight: Supervise NVOCC operations, including pricing, inventory, and documentation to ensure smooth operations.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain consistent communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and resolve any issues.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in NVOCC operations, customer service, marketing, and documentation.
• Skills: Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of NVOCC operations, logistics management, and documentation processes.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, with a strong customer-oriented approach.
