Lead and manage the New Product Development (NPD) process and packaging for all new launches and existing products.
Manage packaging specifications by developing optimal solutions for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging components.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
Optimize costs by reducing packaging and product costs through new vendor developments and negotiations.
Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
Generate purchase orders (PO), manage inventory on tools such as Zoho & Unicommerce, and ensure quality control.
Conduct R&D on new products and coordinate lab testing.
Actively coordinate and engage with stakeholders, especially Marketing, Quality, Consumer Science, and Procurement, to adhere to a consumer-centric packaging research and development approach in all relevant initiatives and projects.
Provide monthly reporting and implement cost optimizations.
Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience in NPD projects.
Experience in formulation and new product development with a solid understanding of packaging, including flexible packaging, plastic bottles and containers, and rigid packaging.
Experience in D2C/consumer products is preferred.
Experience in beauty, personal care, nutraceuticals, and FMCG sectors will be given preference.
Strong project management skills with the ability to monitor timelines and ensure milestones are met.
Excellent relationship-building skills with key stakeholders.
