Senior Executive Finance & Accounts

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for managing and monitoring incoming payments, ensuring timely invoicing, reconciling accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth collections.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoicing & Billing:

• Generate and send invoices to customers as per company policies.
• Ensure accuracy of invoices, billing details, and tax calculations.
• Maintain records of all invoices and receipts.

2. Collections & Payment Follow-ups:

• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers for timely collections.
• Send reminders, dunning letters, and statements of accounts as needed.
• Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams for resolving payment-related disputes.

3. Account Reconciliation & Reporting:

• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare aging reports and track overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate records of receivables and update the system regularly.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial reporting.
• Assist in preparing reports for management on AR status.

5. Customer Relationship Management:

• Address customer inquiries related to invoices and payments.
• Negotiate payment terms if required and escalate issues when necessary.
• Build strong relationships with key customers to improve payment cycles.

Key Skills & Competencies:

✅ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
✅ Proficiency in ERP software (SAP B1 preferred, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
✅ Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
✅ Strong communication and negotiation skills
✅ Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
✅ Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Qualifications & Experience:

📌 Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance preferred)
📌 Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role
📌 Industry Preference: Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG, IT, or any sector dealing with customer invoicing and collections
