Project Lead

Oasys Cybernetics Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Lead to manage a team of 30 members which includes Developers (Java and mobile Technology), Testers, BAs etc in delivering high-quality solutions using Java, Angular, Core Java, Hibernate, JSF, and MySQL. As a Project Lead, you will oversee the development and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions, manage your team's day-to-day activities, and ensure that project goals and deadlines are met with efficiency and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 8 to 10 developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and collaboration.
• Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of software projects, from requirement gathering and design through implementation, testing, and deployment and Production Support..
• Technical Expertise: Lead the technical design and development of the project, including hands-on involvement in coding, Code Reviews, architecture, and solving complex problems in Core Java, JSF, Angular, Hibernate, and MySQL.
• JSF & Angular Implementation: Provide in-depth expertise in Angular for the front-end. Good knowledge of Java Server Faces (JSF) will be an added advantage..
• MySQL Database: Work closely with the database team to design, optimize, and implement MySQL database solutions, including schema design, queries, and stored procedures.
• Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring that requirements are understood, and well documented, expectations are met, and deliverables are on track.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality through reviews, automated and Manual testing, and adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks, proactively resolve issues, and escalate concerns when necessary to keep the project on track.
• Collaboration & Communication: Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
• Agile Practices: Manage and execute projects in an Agile environment, facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Encourage the team to adopt new technologies, methodologies, and practices to improve efficiency and product quality.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Core Java: Extensive experience in Core Java, including object-oriented programming (OOP), multi-threading, and performance optimization.
• Advanced Java : Extensiva experience in advance java concepts like Spring boot, Spring security etc, Micro Services, etc…
• JSF: In-depth knowledge of Java Server Faces (JSF) for creating scalable, maintainable web applications.
• Angular: Strong expertise in Angular for building front-end applications, including component-based architecture and state management.
• Hibernate: Solid experience in using Hibernate ORM for efficient database operations, including query optimization and entity mapping.
• MySQL: Hands-on experience with MySQL database, including schema design, performance tuning, and writing complex queries.
• SVS (Service Virtualization Solution): Familiarity with SVS tools for simulating third-party services in a development or testing environment.
• Version Control: Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
• Build & Deployment Tools: Familiarity with tools like Maven, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools for build automation and continuous delivery.

Leadership and Management Skills:

• Team Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8 to 10 developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience managing stakeholder expectations, maintaining communication with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered on time.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
• Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any team conflicts or challenges that arise during the course of the project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Java, Angular, Hibernate, JSF, and MySQL.
• At least 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing a development team of 30 members.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and deadlines.
