Typically, the Messaging Services Advisor is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, MS SharePoint and OneDrive within Unified Messaging and Communication.
Good understanding and knowledge on Boundary Services, Relay server management, Ironport Archiving solutions and Microsoft Teams.
Advises in support and maintenance of the Microsoft Office 365
Advises team in the maintenance tasks associated with the support, modification and updation of Messaging software systems. Works with more senior team members in performing patching, upgrades, etc.
Administrator who specialized in Exchange On Premise (2013 to 2019), Exchange Online and Boundary Services (EOP, ATP, ProofPoint and Cisco IronPort)
Administrator should also have generalized knowledge in other Office 365 core applications such as SharePoint, OneDrive and MS Teams
Handles day to day Incident and Request management tasks
Is responsible for identifying and contributing to automation solutions (e.g.: PowerShell coding)
Extensive and thorough knowledge on Outlook, OWA Client related issues.
Basic Qualification
Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting multifarious Messaging environment
Expert knowledge on different versions of Exchange
Expert knowledge on Microsoft Office 365
Good working knowledge on Boundary Services, Relay server management archiving solutions
Good working knowledge on Ironport administration and perimeter e-mail filtering administration support
Degree: Engineering graduate or Bachelor of Computer Science with relevant Messaging technology work experience.
