Product Owner

Description

W Energy is seeking a Product Owner to design, support, and test W Energy Software s robust application suite. As a Product Owner, you ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to document requirements and create design specifications.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients and internal resources to document requirements and create design specifications.

Handles business requirements and supplements with analysis of the data.

Gather needs from stakeholders and implement them into the project scope.

Transform needs and requests into backlog items with defined acceptance criteria for the development team.

Support a subset of the product (1 module).

Spend time building domain knowledge.

Developing use cases, user documentation, and test cases for new and existing application functionality.

Support the software suite as a subject matter expert.

Communicate between engineering and business teams, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency of the software.

Gather needs from stakeholders and implement them into the project scope.

Requirements

BS degree in engineering, computer science, accounting, finance, MIS or related fields.

Understands Agile SDLC processes.

1+ years of product owner experience, preferably in the energy industry.

Experience providing software support/troubleshooting and functional enhancement advice for software applications.

Experience working on cross-functional teams.

Ability to solve problems in a creative and timely manner.

Previous experience creating product-oriented documentation for software applications.

1+ years of experience supporting, designing, or using energy software.

Understands the business model at a basic level.

Advanced critical thinking skills.

Ability to solve problems in a creative and timely manner.

Comfort working within agile-waterfall hybrid development methodologies.

Highly adaptable, capable of learning new technologies.

Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite or similar alternatives.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

A drive to continue learning, specifically about the energy business and W Energy Software.

Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database exposure.

Working Hours

This profile is not for permanent Night Shift but rotational shift will be there which will include night and morning shift apart from normal day shift.
