- Experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in selling IT services, preferably to government clients.
- Deep understanding of the state government ecosystem in India, including procurement processes, budget cycles, and decision-making dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate complex solutions to senior government officials.
- Proven ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies to penetrate new markets and drive revenue growth.
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand our presence in the state government sector.
- Identify and Cultivate Relationships: Identify key decision-makers within state governments and build strong, long-lasting relationships to understand their needs and position our services effectively.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and government policies to identify opportunities and threats and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with the delivery.
- Pre-sales and solutions teams to develop compelling proposals that address the specific needs of state governments and differentiate our offerings from competitors.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients to ensure favorable terms and conditions for both parties while maximizing revenue and profitability.
- Client Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by proactively addressing any issues or concerns and maintaining regular communication with clients.
- Spearhead and take end to end ownership of both proactive and RFx deals.
