Senior Kubernetes/OpenShift Administrator - IT Infrastructure Automation (7-9 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Administer and manage OpenShift Container Platform (4.12 and above) and Kubernetes clusters.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Ansible.

- Manage deployments, stateful sets, config maps, and secrets.

- Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting using Prometheus.

- Manage container images, including pushing and pulling to Container Registry.

- Utilize Git and GitHub for version control.

- Implement and manage Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container orchestration and deployments.

- Collaborate with development teams to support their containerization needs.

- Implement best practices for security and performance optimization.

Qualifications :

- 7-9 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration.

- Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration.

- Deep experience in OpenShift Container Platform administration (4.x and above, specifically 4.12+).

- Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.

- Strong understanding of Git and GitHub for version control.

- Experience with Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD.

- Solid understanding of container orchestration concepts and best practices.

- Experience managing deployments, stateful sets, config maps, and secrets in Kubernetes/OpenShift.

- Experience with Prometheus monitoring and alert setup.

- Knowledge of container registries and image management.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
