Business Development Manager - LV Panel

The BDM - LV Panels is responsible for budgeted order inflow, order execution, project delivery, payment collection accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of sales & execution related activities and resources.

Accountable for the budgeted order booking & sales (invoicing) of LV & MV Switchboards & Busducts Pan India.

• This is a direct sales role that will be responsible for direct or indirect selling and/or management of project resources.
• Manage & lead the sales team to deliver the sales budget & specified organizational objectives.
• Take initiative to explore & generate leads & opportunities, follow-up & convert them into inquiries. Maintain close follow-up with consultants, specifiers, regular customers & key accounts to tap the available opportunities.
• Conducting technical discussions with customers & achieve technical closure leading to commercial discussions.
• Has a sharp commercial acumen with good understanding of commercial aspects of LV & MV Switchboard & busducts sales.
• Works with cross business teams & Important clients.
• Lead the sales process and actively drive project execution incl. the associated risk provision within the contractual frame, in order to exceed/meet the cost, schedule, P&L targets
• Ensures compliance with company standards, laws & regulations.
• Ensures payment collections for customer contracts.
• Manage customers and actively develop the required relationship to ease communication and support outcome.
• Drive process adherence and team coordination between functions such as Estimation, Marketing, Design, Planning & Manufacturing, Finance & After Sales Service.
• Coordinate with other sales teams for order booking, customer inter-action, execute projects, based on individual project specifications.
• Resolve any issues including lack of adherence to contracts, project quality or timeline issues
• Demonstrate strategic and tactical knowledge to deliver excellence and drive continuous growth.
  

Preferred candidate profile

15 + years. Special focus on Data Centres (Grey Space) Metro rail, Airports, Commercial Infrastructure, Industry, MES, hospitals etc. Previous experience in Data Centre will be preferred . Good networking among the consultants, specifiers, EPC companies & leading Govt. Deptts & corporates in the Data Centre segment shall be a big plus.
