We are currently seeking a [[Business Consultant]] to join our team in [[Bengaluru]], [[Karnataka]], [[India]].
Mid-Level SAP RAR Consultant / Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP RAR Configuration & Support :
- Configure and support the SAP RAR module to automate and manage revenue recognition processes in line with business requirements and accounting standards.
- Maintain system settings, master data, and configuration for revenue accounting.
- Revenue Recognition :
- Apply and support revenue recognition rules for multiple revenue streams (e.g., licensing, subscription, service) in compliance with IFRS 15, ASC 606, and other applicable regulations.
- Ensure accurate alignment of revenue recognition timelines, triggers, and rules.
- System Integration :
- Collaborate with functional teams (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Sales, and IT) to ensure smooth integration of SAP RAR with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI, CO, SD) and external systems.
- Assist in data migration from legacy systems to SAP RAR, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Testing & Quality Assurance :
- Support the testing of SAP RAR configurations, including integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring the solution meets business needs and requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues identified during testing and production and provide solutions.
- Reporting & Analytics :
- Work with stakeholders to create reports, dashboards, and analytics in SAP RAR for timely revenue recognition, monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Provide insights into revenue trends and variances to help business units optimize financial performance.
- End-User Support :
- Provide functional support and guidance to end-users on SAP RAR functionality and troubleshoot issues.
- Create user manuals, process documentation, and provide training to help users understand and adopt SAP RAR features.
- Documentation & Compliance :
- Document all SAP RAR configurations, processes, and solutions to maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in reviews of financial processes and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with global accounting standards.
- Continuous Improvement :
- Suggest and implement process improvements within the SAP RAR module to improve system performance, usability, and alignment with business needs.
- Stay up to date with changes to accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, ASC) and assess the impact on SAP RAR configurations.
