Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary and experienced AI Capability Leader/Head to set up AI COE for our organization and drive business, development and deployment of AI technologies. The candidate must have over 10 years of experience in AI/ML, with a proven track record of managing teams, building AI solutions, and aligning AI initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities:

Strategic and Technology Leadership:

• Develop and execute the organizations AI strategy.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for AI adoption to drive innovation, efficiency, and revenue growth.
• Identify the emerging trends, provide technical leadership and mentorship to build and lead a high-performing AI team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the AI team.

AI Solution Delivery

• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and monitoring.
• Drive the design and implementation of AI projects.

Collaboration and Partnerships:

• Cultivate strategic partnerships with technology vendors, startups, research institutions, and industry experts to fuel innovation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure successful adoption of AI solutions.
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to translate AI insights into actionable strategies.

Governance and Ethics:

• Establish and enforce best practices for AI governance, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Monitor AI systems for fairness, accountability, and transparency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in AI development and deployment.

Performance Evaluation:

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and progress of AI initiatives.
• Regularly evaluate and report on the progress of AI projects to senior leadership.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML ecosystem.
• Innovation mindset and delivering AI-driven solutions.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead teams through ambiguity and uncertainty.
• Extensive experience in software architecture and delivery, with hands-on proficiency in AI tools and technologies (AI, Gen AI, Deep Learning, Python, NLP, algorithms, Cloud, etc.).
• Software development experience beyond AI.
• Strong understanding of Generation AI concepts and their application in business settings.
