Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to drive the successful implementation of BI and data solutions.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards, SQL scripts, and data pipelines.
Design and execute data engineering processes, including stored procedures and database management.
Work with cloud technologies like GCP and Snowflake or BigQuery to handle large datasets and ensure seamless integration.
Manage and optimize SQL Server environments, utilizing SQL Agent for automation and task scheduling.
Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and technical solutions to both technical and non-technical team members.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and maintain strong time management and organizational skills while handling overlapping schedules with offshore teams ( offshore teams work until 11 AM or 12:00 PM EST ).
Soft Skills:
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, fostering a cooperative environment.
Time Management Organization: Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Positive Attitude: Approach challenges with optimism and a problem-solving mindset.
Required Technical Skills:
Tableau : Proficiency in developing dashboards and visualizations.
SQL T-SQL : Strong SQL query skills for data manipulation and analysis.
BigQuery or Snowflake : Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses.
SQL Server : Expertise in managing and optimizing SQL Server databases.
GCP (Google Cloud Platform) : Experience with cloud-based technologies, specifically GCP.
SQL Agent : Experience using SQL Agent for automation and task scheduling.
Nice to Have Technical Skills:
Composer/Airflow : Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools.
Python : Ability to work with Python for data-related tasks or scripting.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in the BI Data space (BI, data engineering, databases, stored procedures, cloud technologies).
Strong technical skills in the required technologies.
Experience working with onshore teams and handling overlapping schedules.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
