We are seeking an experienced contractor with expertise in HashiCorp Vault and a strong background in DevOps tools and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Linux administration, Git and GitHub Actions, Splunk for monitoring, and basic networking knowledge. Experience with Kubernetes is a plus. The contractor will be responsible for managing and automating the secure storage, access, and distribution of secrets, as well as ensuring seamless integration with existing DevOps processes and infrastructure.

What Youll Need

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with HashiCorp Vault for secret management.
- Strong background in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, particularly Splunk.
- Basic networking knowledge for configuring secure access to services.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins) to streamline workflows.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with development, operations, and security teams.

Must Have Requirements:
- Proven experience in configuring and managing HashiCorp Vault clusters.
- Ability to automate integrations of Vault into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong commitment to security compliance and best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting for Vault operations.
- Experience managing Linux-based servers in a production environment.
