Android Developer

What you'll be building?

You will be amongst the first few engineers on our team defining and executing the vision for our learning app.

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with external data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Stay up to date with new trends and advancements in mobile application development

What we are looking for?

• Proven 1+ years of working experience in Android app development

• Have published at least one original Android app.

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

• Proficient in Java, Kotlin programming languages

• Good knowledge of MVVM, MVC, and MVP architectures and RESTful APIs, JSON

• Proficient in writing unit test cases using JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito

• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

• Familiarity with Android Jetpack components such as Compose, Coroutines, Room Database, LiveData, Navigation Graph, Hilt, Lifecycle, and WorkManager
