Software Engineer - DevOps (3-6 yrs)

One of the leading retail food chain company of india is looking out for Software Developer ( DEvops)

Key responsibilities :

- Build resilient and sustenance cloud infrastructure. Be the first line of contact for daily operations. Enrich the cloud infrastructure uptime by minimizing the Incidents, watching the proactive alerts. Must be available to support the crises situation 24- 7.

- Manage the monitoring, updating, optimization, redundancy, stability of cloud systems and take complete control over business as usual. Monitor system status, activity, performance metrics and capacity.

- Manage storage volumes & resources effectively.

- Monitor the elasticity of cloud solutions and report irregularities and identify possible incidents.

- Monitor & Ensure the regular scheduled backups & work closely with LOB teams for restoration drills.

- Create and maintain automated monitoring and reporting of cloud infrastructure health & performance.

- Build a process oriented environment and all activities, architecture has to be well documented.

 - Keep close eyes on daily and monthly billing and look at all possible ways to optimize the cost. Would perform regular analysis of existing cloud posture to find opportunities for cost optimization.

Desirable :

- Must hold have at least 3 years of experience in Architecting, Designing & Operations Management

- AWS certified and hands-on experience on AWS infrastructure (minimum 2-5 years- experience)

- Good understanding on AWS Native networking services- VPC, Elastic IPs, DHCP, Route53, Gateways, VPC pairing, Direct Connect, DGW, Cloud front, Elastic Load balancer etc.

- Good understanding of AWS Elastic Compute, Spot Instances, Reserved Instances, Dedicated Hosts Auto scaling & related concepts.

- Good understanding on AWS Storage services- EBS, S3, Storage Gateways etc.

- Good understanding on Aerospike & Memcached

- Good understanding on New relic, Prometheus, Graphana, Splunk, ELK

- Working knowledge on Python, Shell script

- Good knowledge on Cloud formation, Terraform, Python scripting, PowerShell or any related automation technologies & language.

- Good knowledge on AWS cost fundamentals of basic services like S3, EC2, Network Services, CDN, EBS etc.

- Working knowledge on Windows Server OS, IIS, Active Directory, SFTP & FTP applications is preferred.

- Working knowledge about SQL Servers, other related DB technologies including AWS native DB services like

- RDS, Dynamo DB, Redshift, Kinesis, MYSQL etc.

- Good understanding of licensing concepts of related OEMs like Microsoft, Oracle, and VMWare wrt hosting over cloud etc.

- Working understanding of DevOps/CI-CD concepts.

- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
