Microbiologist

Key Requirements:

• Develop various testing processes for all raw materials, finished products, equipment and environment.
• Conducting microbiology test and Preservative efficacy test for new pharmaceutical products Development batches and stability batches.
• Recording, analysing and interpreting data.
• Preparation and review of microbiology testing protocols and reports as per pharmacopoeia/regulatory guidelines.
• Preparation & review of method validation protocols/reports for microbiological quality testing and Preservative efficacy test.
• Conducting method validation for microbiological quality testing and Preservative efficacy test.
• Develop and document various microbiology laboratory processes and prepare final reports.
• Ensuring that data is recorded accurately in accordance to guidelines.
• Participate in product OOS investigations and assist in the determination of root cause.
• Inspecting manufacturing area, Raw materials and manufacturing processes to check for possible contamination.
• Managing microbiology laboratory.

Desired Qualification: Bachelor/Master Degree in microbiology or biochemistry.

Desired Skills:

• Highly skilled in microbiology techniques, methodology, equipment and supplies.
• In-depth knowledge of laboratory tests used in microbiology work.
• Proficient in methods and practices of microbiological analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of electron microscopes, electronic equipment, chemical samples, and stains and weighing equipment.
• Good communication skills and interpersonal relationship.
