Senior Professional B1

As Senior Professional Purchase, you are expected to support & monitor daily purchase activities and KPI s in GBS; support Supply Chain in offshored purchase processes. You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:

• Create and maintain purchase plans. Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders within an agreed horizon to both internal Suppliers as well as selected local suppliers to purchase area within appointed responsibility.

• Purchase performance reporting and evaluation of transactional data quality. Report on performance, evaluate performance and suggest/implement improvements.

• Evaluate system created purchase requisitions for feasibility, taking stock levels, warehouse capacity, shelf life and requirements into consideration.

• Follow up on open orders and evaluate severity on requirements if supplier confirmations deviate from original request.

• Continuously engage in dialogue with local Flow Manager to ensure timely rescheduling of purchase orders
  

Qualifications

• Masters/bachelor s with experience in planning and support function for at least 2 - 5 years.

• Excellent communication and articulation skills.

• At least 2 years of minimum experience in offshored purchase processes.

• Ability to analyse and process the data.

• Good understanding of supply chain concepts (Plan, Make, Source, Deliver and Return and the supporting master data).

• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience in working with SAP ECC/R3 (MM module) within Supply Chain is a must, while experience in SAP APO as an end user experience is good to have.
