Senior Mobile Developer (Android, iOS) with Backend Expertise

Role & responsibilities

Mobile Development (Android & iOS)

• Maintain and improve existing Android & iOS mobile applications.
• Write reliable, well-structured, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Work closely with the product team to design new features and provide updates.
• Implement process improvements, best practices, and tools for faster and more efficient development.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily stand-ups, Sprint planning, Backlog grooming, etc.).

Backend Development & Cloud Integration

• Develop and optimize backend services to support mobile applications.
• Work with Spring Boot to build microservices-based backend architecture.
• Design and develop REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS).
• Ensure high availability and security for backend services.

Preferred candidate profile

Mobile Development (Android & iOS) Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of native mobile development experience (Android/iOS).
• Hands-on experience in Android Studio (Kotlin, Java, RxJava, Dagger, Coroutines, Flows).
• Strong understanding of Jetpack Compose and modern UI/UX design principles.
• Experience in Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and MVVM architecture for iOS.
• Proficiency in integrating third-party libraries and SDKs.
• Strong understanding of REST API interaction using JSON.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub version control.

Backend Development & Cloud Expertise

• Experience working with Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis.
• Experience designing and developing asynchronous REST APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of HTTP request methods and response codes.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in functional programming features like Streams, Lambdas, and concurrency APIs.
• Experience in unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns such as VIPER, MVVM, Clean Architecture.
• Experience working with distributed systems.
