Senior MEP Engineer

Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead and manage MEP projects within the real estate portfolio, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, to integrate MEP systems effectively.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for MEP systems, providing accurate cost estimates for projects. Implement cost-control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance programs for MEP systems to meet and exceed industry standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.

Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate MEP contractors, consultants, and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and services.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with MEP systems and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them. Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues during the construction and operation phases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in MEP management within the real estate sector.
• Professional engineering license (PE) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in relevant software tools and applications.
