Roles & Responsibility:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Monitoring and Analysis:

• Continuously monitor network performance using network monitoring tools.
• Analyze traffic patterns, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain and configure Network Monitoring Systems (NMS).
• Respond to network alerts promptly and effectively.
• Investigate and resolve network outages or performance degradations.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level teams as necessary.

2. System Maintenance:

• Perform regular health checks on routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Update monitoring dashboards and reports for key stakeholders.

3. Reporting and Documentation:

• Generate and deliver network performance reports.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.

4. Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with IT and security teams to optimize network performance.
• Provide recommendations for improving network efficiency and scalability.

5. Tool and Technology Management:

• Manage tools like OPManage, SolarWinds, PRTG, Opsramp, Cisco ACI, Aruba Clear Pass, Aruba Central or equivalent platforms.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in network monitoring and management.

Qualifications:

Relevant certifications (preferred): CCNA, CCNP, DCACI, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in network monitoring or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and technologies.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
• Proficiency in monitoring tools (e.g., OPManage, SolarWinds, PRTG, Opsramp, Cisco ACI, Aruba Clear Pass, Aruba Central).
• Familiarity with network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to Incident, Problem, Change Management and Service Level Reporting
