ACCA Accounts Payable Manager

Role & responsibilities

Accounts Payable Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving discrepancies and ensuring smooth payment cycles.
• Monitor key AP metrics and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

Process Automation & Improvement:

• Lead automation initiatives to streamline AP processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvement methodologies, leveraging Six Sigma or other relevant frameworks.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate digital tools and technologies for seamless workflow management.

Compliance & Controls:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
• Implement and monitor best practices in risk management, fraud prevention, and audit readiness.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the AP team to enhance their performance and professional growth.
• Establish and monitor team KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
