Job Description
Functional Overview
The Asset transfer Team handles remittances and securities transfers across all markets for wealth clients. The team ensures all the requests are processed timely & seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Run a BAU process with strong control mind-set supporting remittances and securities transfers.
- Perform assigned tasks independently, timely and accurately
- Handling exceptions and able to provide constructive solutions to resolve query and challenge.
- Able to review existing process and come up with ideas for efficiency without compromising on control.
- Perform ad hoc supports for manager
- Manage internal stakeholders and ensure consistent delivery as per SLA
- Participate in projects and change initiatives
Requirements:
- Min 1-3 years experience in asset transfer / settlements with private banking experience preferred
- Experience in Remittance (eg, Payments, Receipts), Custody (eg, FOP transfers, Conversions)
- Previous experience in dealing with Avaloq system is an advantage
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable with tight deadlines and pressure
- Inquisitive, proactive and able to work in fast paced environment

Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing assigned activities seamlessly
- Be an integral part of the IWM team
- Timely reporting and escalation
- Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for the tasks assigned
- Understand Nomura applications and SOP
- Ensure there are no errors and escalations
- Provide best service to internal and external clients

- Clear understanding of IB terminologies like FOP, Receipts, Payments etc
- Good understanding of asset transer activities.

- SWIFT Knowledge

- Any Basic prior exposure on workflow tool, Data interpretation and presentation using any new age digital skills or tool (e.g. in any of Altreyx, Excel Macro, R, Python, Power-Bi, Tabelu, etc)
