Nomura - Analyst - Algo Strategies

Roles and responsibilities :

- Working in close tandem with global structuring desk facing aggressive deadlines for index related work

- Work in close collaboration with the global teams to develop scripts for indices across various asset class

- Ensuring correct publication of indices and supporting queries regarding legacy calculators

- Development of new indices/features in legacy platforms

- Enhancement and bug fixes for Index development platform

- Analysis for client and trading queries

- Gain knowledge of the relevant global financial products and model's developed by Nomura's Quantitative Research Team

Skills required :

- Knowledge of finance, and statistics. CFA level I preferred.

- Good written and oral communication skills

- Excellent organisational skills

- Strong Analytical skills

- Enthusiasm for using technology to solve challenging problems.

- Comfortable with large databases / datasets

- Proficiency in Python/C/C++/Java and VBA Knowledge
