Pine Script Developer - Trading Systems (2-5 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Pine Script Developer to design, develop, and maintain trading strategies, indicators, and scripts on the TradingView platform. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Pine Script, technical analysis, and financial markets. This role requires the ability to transform trading ideas into actionable and efficient scripts that meet client or project requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Script Development :

- Develop custom indicators, trading strategies, and alerts using Pine Script on the TradingView platform.

- Optimize and refine existing Pine Script code for better performance and functionality.

Technical Analysis :

- Collaborate with traders, analysts, or clients to understand trading requirements and translate them into functional scripts.

- Implement strategies based on technical analysis and trading methodologies.

Debugging and Testing :

- Identify and fix issues in Pine Script code to ensure accuracy and reliability.

- Conduct backtesting and forward testing of strategies to validate performance and results.

Documentation and Support :

- Document code, logic, and user instructions for scripts and indicators.

- Provide support and guidance to users regarding the use of developed scripts.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, traders, and analysts, to achieve project objectives.

- Stay updated with the latest developments in Pine Script and TradingView features.

Qualifications and Skills

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Pine Script with a portfolio of developed strategies or indicators.

- Strong understanding of technical analysis, chart patterns, and trading indicators.

- Familiarity with trading platforms and financial markets, including Forex, stocks, and cryptocurrencies.

- Knowledge of backtesting, optimization, and risk management principles.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication skills to understand requirements and explain solutions.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or R is a plus.

- Familiarity with algorithmic trading platforms and APIs.

- Knowledge of trading bots and integration with platforms like MetaTrader or Binance.

- Experience in financial modeling or quantitative analysis.
