Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and portals using both Liferay and Spring Boot.
• Customize Liferay themes, layouts, and portlets as needed.
• Migrate existing functionalities from Liferay to Spring Boot.
• Integrate Liferay and Spring Boot applications with other systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to both Liferay and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Ensure best practices in both Liferay and Spring Boot development, including security and performance optimization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Liferay Developer.
• Proven experience as a Spring Boot Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Liferay DXP, Liferay 7.x.
• Proficiency in Java, JSP, and other relevant technologies.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with Liferay customization, theme development, and plugin management.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Liferay to Spring Boot migration projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of database management and SQL.
• Previous experience working on enterprise-level projects.
