Liferay Developer

• Develop and customize Liferay-based portals and applications.
• Create and implement custom portlets, themes, layouts, and extensions to meet business requirements.
• Work with Liferay DXP (Digital Experience Platform) or earlier versions for portal development.

• Extend Liferay s core functionalities
• Integrate Liferay portals with external systems and services using REST/SOAP APIs..

• Debug and troubleshoot issues related to Liferay applications, system performance, and integrations.
• Optimize portal performance and scalability, ensuring adherence to best practices.

• Participate in requirement analysis, technical feasibility studies, and architectural design.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

• Manage the deployment of Liferay applications to production and testing environments.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure reliability.

• Ensure portal security by implementing proper access controls and data protection measures.
• Adhere to organizational security policies and compliance standards.

• Research and implement the latest features and updates in Liferay.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing applications and suggest enhancements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Liferay development

Bachelor s/master s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering.At least 3-5+ years of experience in liferay framework. Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and Liferay Portal Development (DXP or earlier versions).

Proven experience as a Liferay Developer or similar role

Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Good communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
